How To Use Video On LinkedIn To Increase Response Rates

July 5, 2024 - 1 minute read - LinkedIn, LinkedIn Content, LinkedIn Tips

This is how I can almost guarantee a reply from a prospect ↴

Send a video message.

Short and simple is the perfect way to get “in.”

Here’s a script concept you can try:

Start with…
“𝙃𝙚𝙮 [𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚], 𝙄’𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚 𝙢𝙮𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛. 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 ____ / 𝙀𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 _____. ”

Then…
“𝘼𝙩 [𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚], 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 [𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩] 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 [𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩].”

End with…
“𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙣𝙤𝙩, 𝙡𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.”

This concept works for anyone with a few tweaks.

It’s a very lightweight approach to get someone’s attention.

Prospects, partners, old connections, etc.

More often than not, you’ll get a “thanks for the video.”

And guess who they’ll think of when they are ready to make a move? 🪞

The question is… why are more people not using video?
