How To Keep Your Sales Reps Relevant
January 13, 2024 - 2 minutes read - LinkedIn, LinkedIn Tips, Social SellingSDRs are soon going to be obsolete.
Agree or disagree?
With the rise of AI and the shift in B2B buying habits, the traditional “SDR” is evolving rapidly.
Old-school, lazy sales methodologies just don’t work anymore.
AI can handle those tasks.
But what AI can’t do? Build human connections.
The sales cycle is no longer as simple as it once was.
In order to make inroads with prospects, your team must build a human connection.
And they must be in it for the long game.
The best way to do this is through establishing a personal brand.
But here’s the thing…most SDRs have no clue how to do this.
And with good reason. They’ve never been shown.
Companies are relying on outdated tactics to get in front of people and are hitting dead ends.
But if you train your team, empower them, and give them the strategies they need, they’ll have powerful personal brands that generate a consistent pipeline.
I’m talking about doing things like:
👉 Optimizing their LinkedIn profiles
👉 Posting and engaging with content
👉 Leveraging video for outreach
👉 Sending customized messages and emails
